AraLightDEGs: A knowledge base of Arabidopsis thaliana DEGs in response to high light

AraLightDEGs provides comprehensive information on the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) of Arabidopsis thaliana Col-0 photosynthetic tissues in response to high light treatments. Version 1.0 (March 2025) includes DEGs from 58 experimental conditions derived from 21 publicly available transcriptomic studies. The plant age ranges from 5 to 49 days, light intensity varies from 500 to 2000 PPFD (µmol m-2 s-1), treatment duration ranges from 20 seconds (0 minutes) to 5 days (7200 minutes), and available tissues include leaves and seedlings.

The Search tab allows to explore differentially expressed genes (DEGs) under specific high light conditions (e.g., duration, intensity) and plant characteristics (e.g., tissue type, developmental stage). The Downloads tab provides access to DEG lists from individual experiments, raw count matrices, and detailed experimental metadata.
